The details: 11:00 AM - 2:30 The Cathedral Church of St. Paul (Sanctuary) 138 Tremont St. Boston, MA 02111 $75 per person SSYP was founded in the summer of 1999 as a mission of St. Stephen’s Church (South End) and the Diocese of Massachusetts under the leadership of Bishop Shaw to provide a safe, nurturing environment for neighbor (Roxbury and South End) youth to receive out of school time support, job opportunities and training in community organizing. Over 25 years, SSYP has worked along-side 10,000 community Episcopal partners, community leaders, Roxbury and South End families and, of course, our amazing youth! The luncheon will feature a speaking program, a pictorial timeline, video presentation and the opportunity to connect with friends, old and new. Proceeds will benefit our mentoring program. The mentoring program pairs SSYP teens employed in our program and adults who can share their post-secondary and career experiences with teens. Can't attend but want to support?
